Its time for another installment of the LD Gong Show!
The following players are not in compliance with chain policy. It is my sincerest wish that those who are not in compliance GET in compliance.

Step one of that wish is to notify those who are not keeping up with their share of the load.

Cloud: GONG! You're not showing up on the chain page at all. This tells me you haven't sent in an update in quite some time. Where are you man? Last I actually saw you, was on Shadowclaim. Get your update in please.

Lucky Strike: GONG! Quota failure. Fix it please. The idea behind the Order of Hyssop is for a higher output chain. We are going to be a bit tougher on quota failures within the Order.

Compadre: GONG! ACstats is not working. We're not getting an update from you and we should have some numbers by now.

Pyreal Girl: GONG! Quota failure. If you we're an order of french fries, I'd ask for some extra CATCH-UP! Get it? Catch up? As in, catch up with quota.

Aurel: GONG! Quota failure. Kevin Costner's Indian name is "Dances With Wolves" Your Indian name is "Needs To Hunt More".

Rabid Raptor: GONG! ACstats issue. We should have some numbers from you by now. Please get this taken care of.

Kornflex: GONG! ACstats issue. You are not showing up on the chain page at all. You need to get this fixed.

Kajun Stike: GONG! Quota failure. (Again) You seem to be in this catagory a lot. Please reconsider your choice of chains if you find that quota is too difficult to maintain.

Apothem: GONG! ACstats issue. We should have some data from you by now. ...but we don't. So fix it.

Bacal: GONG! Quota failure. You're in a chain. The chain has a quota. Yes?

So there it is. Lets get these problems cleared up ASAP fellas. As you all know, noncompliance with chain policy can cause your characters to be removed. Nobody wants that to happen. Not the managers, not you.

If there is anything going on with any of these guys that I don't know about, feel free to fill me in. Im only looking at the chain report and sometimes either do not know, or just forget that so-and-so is on vacation in southern Mongolia, or that whatchamacallit was called away on business to the widget factory in Sweden.

no stats from me? bleh, i'll kick acstats a few times today and hopefully something happens.

I know you're all boycotting "announcement" status'ing these posts, but don't you think it's appropriate?

It is very appropriate.

And heat injected some excellent humor to lighten the load.

I made it an announcement. I'll also work on getting rid of some of the other announcements and stickys, if possible.

I like to keep it as a regular post. That way I can go in a bump it to sort of maintain the urgency of the post. Also, I sometimes think people kind of gloss over the announcements and forget about them.

But its cool. An announcement it is. As long as everyone gets this stuff done!

Ah, the answer may well be to let people gloss over or not, as they see fit. If they gloss over a post, and don't correct the quota situation, we simply remove them from the chain. They probably won't gloss over posts again.

1. It is my understanding that one is not removed from the chain until (or unless) they are 7 million behind in quota. I wasn't even close.

2. If you apply the XP I had gotten above quota before the data base corruption I was easily above quota. While I certainly do not blame anyone, I think its total **censored** that I lost the XP and now you are complaining about it. The evening before the corruption I hunted for about 100 million XP ... easily exceeded quota.

3. Lucky Strike (or one of his vassels) was actually online hunting to make up the defecit at the time this post was posted.

4. I have completely made up the quota deficit, including the lost XP due to data corruption. That is, I'm currently passing.

5. Please note that due to our current system of reporting one does not always know if they are currently passing quota or not. That is, when I update using AcStats today I do not necessarily know if I passed quota. I think it would be appropriate to allow 24 or hours or so from updating to make the quota.

Well, I dont care about the other stuff. The point of this post is, as always, to remind people who aren't in compliance to take care of business before they slip too far. So the fact that you weren't 7million behind has nothing to do with it. We all lost xp and yes, it sucks but oh well. If you're failing (by any amount) when I look at the page to do the report, then you're gonna be on the list. As far as kicking you out, I said nothing of the sort.

As you can see, I said I DIDN'T want to kick anyone out. Hence the reason for this post: A simple reminder.

Now you're passing and thats all that matters.
(Oh, and its supposed to be funny. Its just a game. So I like to keep these reminders humorous.)
