[ Edit by Dave M: Marking this down as you mentioned ]
In the past, we have generally given chain members a week to respond to chain moves posted on the boards. I just wanted everyone to know that this was a result of your chain managers being nice. We didn't have to give you a week.
The following comes from Official Chain Policy:
Failure To Read The Boards
Communication is key for the chain to move smoothly. Each member must read the Food Chain board frequently to remain informed. Chain Managers will post chain placements, movements, and removals there.
If the members involved in any chain movement do not respond within four days from the date of the original post, a member may be sworn around to complete a chain insertion, move, or removal. Please note that such a removal is not permanent-- the member can be re-inserted once their participation level comes back up.
Recently, Management has not been pleased with how long some of these moves are on the boards before anyone even acknowledges them being posted. Let this serve as a warning to the membership that we will be observing chain policy more closely with regard to reading the boards. If you are involved in a chain move and it sets there for 4 or 5 days without so much as a post from you letting us know you're working on it, then you may find yourself out of the chain.
Next order of business:
The management has discussed the issue of what constitutes quota failure within the Order of Hyssop. At first, failure was set at 7million down. Basically this was simply double the failure cut-off of the Food Chain. We have since decided to keep the 3.5million cut-off for quota failure in the Order of Hyssop as well. The Order is by nature, a higher output chain and in keeping with that concept we have to decided to tighten up the requirement on how far you are allowed to slide before you may be removed. This is for the greater good of the chain because those in noncompliance won't be 7million down when they get their "wake up call" from management. They will now be dealt with earlier.
To sum it up: 3.5million down on quota is now grounds for removal from The Order of Hyssop. (As before, this does not always mean you will be removed under such circumstances, but that you CAN be removed.)
In a higher output chain like The Order of Hyssop, we should not have problems with chronic quota failures. This is just a measure of protection to insure that such individuals will be removed.

Please make a mental note of this.
I have edited the chain rules thread to include OH rules.

You can find the rules there if you need to reference them. I'm going to remove this in a day or so to unclutter the boards.
