Please say a little prayer for me . . .

. . . today around 2PM EST if you can. My dad died early Saturday morning after a long struggle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma (cancer). He had been diagnosed about 8 years ago, was treated, went into remission, came out of remission, had more treatments, and was in the hospital for a week before he died because his chest cavity kept filling with fluid which they had to keep drawing off. I am very much at peace because I know the Christian life he lived and thus I know where he is right now. The funeral is today at 2:00, and at the end of it I'm going to play "Go Rest High on That Mountain" and then "Amazing Grace" (in bagpipe mode on the church keyboard) as they are taking him out. Please pray that I will be as calm then as I am now and that my hands will be blessed enough to find the keys, and that I will play like I've never played before. I really want to do this right. Thank you for whoever gets this post in time. For those who don't, just keep my family in your prayers in the coming days. My mom is "soldiering on," true to form for her, but once this is over and there's nothing else to organize I don't know how it will be for her. We live right across the yard from her, so we will be nearby. We are looking for a place to put a bigger home, which may mean moving several miles away from the tiny community where we live and where I've always lived, but I hope we can find some land available around here at a reasonable price. Land in this area is very desirable because of where we live (North Georgia), and can thus be expensive. I'm very much a homebody, and even 15 miles seems like too far away, especially now. Even so, I'll go where God puts me.
Sorry for going on and on, but all this has been on my mind lately. Thank you for all your thoughts.
