Looks like swiss cheese with regards to people updating. How hard is it to log in with acstats turned on once a week or so?

I know the numbers for wimp lo are out of whack because he hunted for about 100 million xp on Monday, yet he is showing only 15 mill pass up. I have a feeling this is a result of his patron and vassal not being updated.

I believe it's rank only. I've asked for clarification on this and have received no answer but last I read in the chain managers forum it was rank only. Until told otherwise I'm only dealing with insertions and requests for removal. I will not remove anyone for not updating. This is subject to change especially if I get any clarification but if it's a rank chain I see no need for removals due to not updating. Just need to make sure people are in the chain properly is all.

This does not mean people can't read the CC board however. I will chain around people who do not respond to posted orders as orders need to be done in a timely manner. Please pass this along to others in the chain.

I think we will need some guidelines for application into this chain. Obviously if it's a rank chain, some of the policies do not apply any longer. I'll see what kind of consensus I can get. I know the other managers are busy with the new chain in the FC forum so once that's up and going hopefully we can get some attention.

Yes, if this is truly a rank only chain then I dont know why almost everyone wouldn't get in it at some point just to have the rank available to them

Hi all, I'm sorry that I have let this go so long without a reply. I only have a few minutes during dinner break now, so will make this brief. Here is the short list of what is going on. I'll try to provide a more detailed answer later, if it looks like it is needed. Laseirna, I apologize for not answering earlier. I should have been keeping a closer watch on teh boards.

The Casual Chain will be a rank-only chain.

The Food Chain (6 million a week pass up quota, or roughly 15 million a week hunted, depending on loyalty/leader) will basically take the place of the old Casual Chain.

The Order of Hyssop quota will be raised to 20 million a week pass up quota, or roughly 50 million hunted (the same level of effort as was needed before the allegiance changes).

The new chain will have a 100 million a week pass up quota, or roughly 250 million a week hunted.

If it turns out that we need to add another chain or two to fill any gaps in the quota range we can do so.

Laseirna can begin adding and removiong characters in the Casual Chain at will. Yes, it may make sense to put characters in the Casual Chain to take advantage of the rank; however, please think before you post for addition because joining the chain will very likely mean you will lose your current patron and your current vassal. That may not be something you want to do.

Can we move Atomic Punk to food chain then?

Yes, if anyone who is currently in the CC wants to move to the FC they are welcome to do so. Go ahead and follow the format in the application thread, except you don't have to worry about filling in the # of vassals part.

We will require a minimum loyalty skill at some point (probably fairly soon), but at this point we still don't know how much loyalty is enough. We don't want to require that anyone spend any more xp on loyalty than is cost effective. My strong suspicion is that the loyalty vs. xp curve is not linear, but rather, loyalty gets much more expensive for a mimimal increase in pass up percentage. Once we figure out where a good, cost effective point is we will set a minimum required loyalty skill to be in a chain. In the meantime, more is better. A character can run around with a low loyalty skill but it will just mean he/she has to hunt harder to make quota.
