We are currently planning on some basic policy and database changes.
For now, everyone's numbers are going to be a little screwy.

We'll let you guys know what's going on soon.

The chain config files for quota calculations etc was just updated, if the numbers look fishy... then something might be wrong.

Upload as usual. You're still in a chain and should still be making quota.

Previously we had a bunch of people that did not play in the chain. My vassel has 69.7% passup, I NEVER get any xp anymore.

Can we remove those who don't play in the chain? If somebody isn't playing, passup is horrible.

I guess it's just going to be a matter of getting used to the way chains work now. You're flat out just not going to get as much as you used to.

According to the numbers your vassal has passed you 273milllion xp in the past 12 days. Nowhere near what you used to get, but again, chains have been nerfed. 273million may not be the greatest, but its not exactly chicken scratch either. That's almost enough for the last point to max out a stat and you basically got it for free, so that's not exactly a bad thing.

I've passed up half a billion, again not what my patron is used to but nothing to scoff at either.

That said, we are however, going to be adjusting quota to be more in line with the changes. Quota will be increased to keep everyone honest and make the chain more worthwhile. Admittedly the timetable for this is slower than what I would like. (I wanted it increased already.) But, being a team player, I'm willing to wait until the rest of management can agree on what the quota needs to be increased to. I hope everyone else is also willing to give us a chance to try to work through this difficult time.

Adjust the date to a few days and you'll see who has hunted. Looks like about half.

In case anyone didn't get what Panzer meant by adust the date to a few days, change the date in the little white From: box at the top of the stats page screen to show only the last week or so. If you set the all the way to yesterday's date you can get some pretty weird results, so make sure and back it up to include at least a couple of days. A week or so is probably a good time frame to give you an idea of what is really going on with the chains, hunting, etc.

Also, keep in mind that there are indeed many people who I'm not sure are really making much xp.

For one, as has already been stated, the shock factor, where understandably many have thrown up their hands and given up so to speak, as far as earning xp.

Secondly however, we need a much higher quota now and have yet to implement it. One thing I've learned from my years of chaining is people work as hard as you make them.
Easy quota = low or no xp.
High quota = great xp.

In the new chain system a high quota will be what it takes to keep the chain worthwhile.

With the quota still being 12 mil a week for the OH, and now with the percentage passed up being so much higher, you only have to make 20 mil or so to pass up the 12 and be done with quota for the week

Adjusting the quota is phase number two Phade. Getting people to meet the current quota is phase number one. :P
