Different question on the new imbuing.

Ok. If I have a weapon imbued with CS (Black Opal) I can still use weapon tinkering on it to raise it's damage (Iron).
Now, taking that logic into account...
Can you "Render" imbue a "CS/CB/AR" weapon since the new "Rending" imbue is a Weapon tinker?
I KNOW the teaser said "You can only imbue once ... so choose wisely", but was that referring to only the new imbue or ALL imbues?
