This is the error message I get when installing decal:

Could not set file security for file 'C:\config.msi\.' Error 5. Verify you have sufficient priviledges to modify security permissions for this file.


Hubby had said I'm set up as Admin on my computer so I should be able to install/uninstall whatever I want.

Decal did say, after that error, and I clicked ok, that install was complete.

Help!?

Is there a site that has some info on it about common errors, etc that I can look at?

What OS are you using?


Try uninstalling decal from the control panels and reinstalling.

Perhaps the installation package you are using is incomplete or corrupt.

I've tried uninstalling all the decal and assorted plugins from the control panel previously and it won't let me. I'll try again and write down the error code.

Ok, that was the 1926 error I previously posted about.

I'll go back and read through those posts again and see if any of that works
