Decal errors...

I just installed the lastest version of Decal and have not yet been able to get it to work. I made sure it had it's updates and that it is running before launching AC.

I get two errors when launching AC. Both are Device Initialization Errors

"Could not create enumerate DirectDraw Main object"

and

"A fatal Error occured trying to create the DirectDraw object"

I have a firewall and deactivated it and that doesn't work either.

Can someone please help????

1) Did you change your AC installation recently or do you use Dual-Logging ?

2) Do you used a fixed size for your Windows pagefile ?

Trek... I just installed ac on this pc.
I do not use dual logging

Um and fixed size for windows pagefile???? I have no clue what you are talking about....

If you have IM maybe we can work it out?

It sounds like your have the 2.5.0.1 + beta update problem.

You can do two things...

1.
In the Network Filters area:

turn off (Uncheck) Identify Queue Filter

But this could cause some decal plugins not to function, as some of the updated plugins are now using it.

or

2.
Download the very lastest version here (better option):
