when trying to install decal library (from decal home page) i get this message:

The loader cannot find C:/WINDOWS/TEMP/WZSE0.TMP/InstMsiaA.exe , file necessary to load Windows Installer.

when i try to install InstMsiA.exe it says service alredy exsist.
i also searched microsoft corp. and found no results on WZSE0

i also have installed imp filter 2.9.0.02, explorer 6 SP1 and internet tools, XML Parser and SDK, XML Parser SDK, MSXML 4.0 SP2 Parser and SDK, SFRelease, netframe 1.1 and 2.0

any ideas what i'm missing? or where to find what the loader needs?

i had that before -- can't remember the root cause. Try re-downloading it.

When it gives you that error, go to that path C:\windows... and see if that file is there.

instmsia.lgc = 1kb
instmsia.lgd = 10kb
INSTMSIA1.LGD = 10kb
INSTMSIA1.LGC = 1kb

was only thing found for instmsia = under C:/WINDOWS/APPLOG

nothing found for WZSE0

that is the temporary directory it makes for installation and uncompression. Look for it when it gives you there error. Leave the error message on the screen.

That's a Win98 computer .. delete all in the TEMP folder (JUST the TEMP folder and it's sub-folders) .....

Then .. install again.

The file being complain about is the runtime for the installation package .. Wise Installer I believe.

did search with error window up and found nothing

deleted everthing outa temp file except PerfectNavBHOlog (wouldnt let me delete this )

InstMsiaA.exe Search for that.


When you install -- look for the path i.e. c:\windows\temp.... and copy all the files out of it and put that and the InstMsiaA.exe in it and try to install manually.

not sure if this is what ya ment but heres what worked:

used winzip to unpack instmsia into window/temp and found a second installer setup and ran it but still got same error on library so!

hit install library and while error was still up i looked in temp file and sure enough the WZSE0 file was there but deletes when you close error so while i had it up i copied it and pasted it back to temp and found the installer inside that worked , so i pasted another copy into my download folder for future use without this grief.

not sure its what you ment but sure did the job

errr, I would have gone a different rout, wipe harddrive reinstall everything, start from scratch, usualy does not work, but great for increasing that blood preasure. You are suposed to increase it yes?
