How do I rearrange my decal plugin list?

I never used to consider that I COULD rearrange it, till I saw someone suggest it on a forum to help fix a problem. So I have been trying to drag and drop the plugins around in the list. Decal SEEMS to want to let me, the plugins will move, but they never wind up where I try to put them. They bounce around, and moving one often moves several others in some random way. I REALLY would like the ones I use most to be at the top, so I don't have to search for them each time. Any help would be appreciated.

I too had problems with rearranging plugins... I removed one at a time completely (not just from the list, but from my Add/Remove Programs) until I found the plugin that caused the havoc. It's been a long while since I did that, so I don't remember which one caused the jumps, but you might want to try troubleshooting it this way if no one else comes up with a fix.

When you drag and drop you are talking about in Decal on your desk top not in game yes?

Yes, from inside Decal itself, not while in game.

You have to go into the registry. Start > Run > regedit and modify the Order values for the individual plugins. The problem your experiencing is because multiple plugins are using the same Order value.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Decal/Plugins is where you will find all the plugin registry entries and their Order values.
