Ok, since moving into my dorm room ive been unable to connect to IRC through meginjarder. Im assuming that its because of a blocked port in the universities firewall software, but since I can't alter that.. i need an alternate method to connect...
Any suggestions?
IRC connectivity issues...

9000 is an "unofficial" port, therefore it is likely that it is blocked.
Did you try port 6667 ?
This is the "official" IRC-port and maybe the campus allows that...
To change the port edit the MEGINJARDER.XML - the port definition is obvious, you will have no problem to locate it.
