Mejinder and LD Darktide players

This morning IRC refused me connection form the Last Dynasty channel on IRC as i wasnt a member of monarchy(Was on DT so impossible to be), it did yesterday?, has something happened?

are you sure IRC didn't work? I get the same error, but it's about registering my name with the server. IRC still works.

try using dircal.. works fine for me.

Eltank's irc has been having trouble too for some reason

Phade, once I did the latest update for Tank it started working fine again.

oh cool. haven't updated mine in a while.. I"m still on 2.5.0.5 I think.

I updated to .9 and it would do anything. So, I backed up to .8. But tank's IRC stuff stinks. I use MJ.

Many of the MJ features are not available when playing on other servers than SC or in other clans - those with data located in our database.
Nevertheless both IRC and the Chat Stack are clan-independant as they are client-based on your PC and don't use the database.
So they work regardless whether you are in the correct clan on the correct server (from the database's point of view) or not.

This means that the error message "....only members of Last Dynasty..." is related to the server-based clan-dependent features like Messaging, Calendar,...but not to the client-based IRC and Chat.

So I assume that if IRC refused to work the reason was somewhere outside MJ.
