Do NOT install MJ 2.2.0.6
It was easy to update the plugin from 2.2.0.4 to .5 because the server files remained unchanged. But 2.2.0.6 also changed the server files and on top of that the database layout, therefore the plugin is supposed to refuse working with our current server. Uhm - or did you already install it and it actually worked ?
The only really new feature is the Recovery Team option. But I have implemented our own version last week which is easier to handle than the .6 one. And 2.2.0.5 seems to work pretty stable - at least I did not hear/read about any problems...
I have not decided yet whether we should upgrade to 2.2.0.6.
First of all it means a lot of work for me to adapt the new server files (once again) which is only reasonable if the new version has really good reasons/advancements. I did not find any yet.
So for now I tend to stay at 2.2.0.5 - unless you find a reason why we should update.

Ok - I will test it a bit - probably we can update the plugin without changing the server part.

I installed it and it seems to work fine. Problem is-- I had no idea to back up my xml. I don't even know where that is, let alone how to back it up. Sheesh, I'm such a computer dolt. Hey, but I can forecast the weather! That ought to count for something

Well, I think it worked fine for me. I was able to set myself as a chain person, but I couldn't set my patron or vassal which means I didn't get the real time Passup info.
The Mbr Online (Everyone, My Leverage, Player Killers) all worked.
The IRC function worked.
Was there something else that would be having problems that maybe I didn't think to look at?

Scyon, I think you can just re-do the clan's xml file. Follow the bottom link in my signature, right click the xml file link there, save it to your hard disk (remember where you save it ), and then copy that xml file into the Meginjarder folder and overwrite the Meginjarder.xml that is already in there. MJ is probably loaded at C:\Program Files\Meginjarder.
