Double Bow VII is now a buff bot for LD!

Post by Opti_Silmara » Thu Oct 30, 2003 11:26 pm

Hi all..

Double Bow VII will be on the beach with Cho Po now, buffing allegiance members. Please assist him in whatever way you can to keep up and running.

If he has any problems, the following are admin for him:

Panzerfaust
Bacal
Pider
Striderhiryu
Illuminati

and myself of-course {the owner}.

Have fun.. I hope he serves the alleg well!

No Sengir. He does not buff armor.

There is a trade-window bug that can cause him to crash if he is buffing armor, plus it takes a long while.

Other than that.. IMO.. if someone needs armor buffs to hunt somewhere, then they are most likely hunting somewhere too hard for them. To encourage that not only increases the load on the rescue teams, but it creates a dependency on the buffbot while making others wait too long for bufs.

If a player wishes to pl somewhere they need armor buffs, then they should do so themselves, or be with someone who is high enough to cast on them, such as a patron capable of it and willing to.

These are my opinions on the matter. I do not wish to disadvantage anyone by:

1/ making it likely the bot crashes.
2/ making people wait too long for buffs.
3/ sending players somewhere they can't handle.

So I have decided not to have DB7 buff armor for these reasons.

Please try to understand,

Opti
