Jason the Healer -- Status

Post by Panzerfaust » Wed Mar 23, 2005 2:02 pm

I am trying to figure out why he drops to desktop. I have everything updated. Now, I only have Castaway running. Nothing else. The problem is that I can't tell if he is online or not.

So, if he drops off during the day, let me know. I checked him around 6am EST this morning and he was groovy.

Run mini PK, it saves a log of everything and can tell you what happened up to the point where it dumps.

or just try a different box

PZ, Funderwear ran stable on 2003 server - you tried that?

Sure its not your ISP shafting you?

And what not.

Maybe run some traffic in the BG?

How about memory leaks?

Get a tool to monitor memory usage historical - or just set up perfmon ;)

Although mine been a LOT  more stable since I upgraded the old computer to Windows 2000 from 98SE .. as of late I have been dropping to the desktop from time to time.

Don't I remember reading about a Decal util or something that would bring you back into AC after you drop out .. automatically?

I have it, but I don't really want to run dual client.

Maybe, I will have to.
