Ok now i am really ticked GRRRRRRRRR

I hooked up my computer.. everything runs just fine.. except when i go into AC i can't keep connected!!!! I have always been on a cable modem.. boyfriend is on DSL.. do i need to do something special to get in game?? pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee someone help me before i break both our computers

it wasnt that :D I got it... Rich came home and we called the dsl.. we had to bridge the modem and open all ports.. wasn't a router problem.. not where keeb and i were at at all.. Keeb isn't a rotten lil elf after all hehehe.. he gets lots and lots of cookies for tryin so very hard for so many hours to help. its all good and i will be able to play after i get back woot.. so y'all look for me in game soon.. kisses to all

Yer got 'er. Bridging modem- simple thing what causes complex problems. A bit like pasting a screenshot of someone's desktop as their wallpaper and then moving all their icons to "my documents" or whatever passes for it with your OS. Lemme tell yer, it's one eeeeevil prank to play on someone.

Shared the experience myself--the modem issue. Still can't see how some businesses get away with billing a contact number as "product support". Generally, it ain't.

Others take note. If you get a router, you'll be happy you paid attention.
